My Hat!

Grace was on her way to some fancy evening party with James when suddenly the wind decided to make off with her hat. Luckily, James was able to retrieve it and help her pin her hair up in a makeshift bun that looked sloppier than either of them liked, but they couldn't be late. However, they found that as they mingled with the crowd, the ladies seemed to like how Grace had her hair done and before long ladies all over London were wearing their hair in that fashion.

I'm really happy with how this came out! I actually surprised myself with this piece, I didn't expect it to turn out as well as it did. It was originally just a good excuse for me to draw lots of ruffles and big, flow-y hair.

Please let me know what you guys think! I think that I've recently had a "growth spurt" in my art. I'd love to hear feedback from you guys. ^_^
